bag gloves are only decent for recreational training IMO much better off with a pair of 8 or 10 oz sparring gloves to use n bags and pads. fairtex ones at TAFG are what you need.

what he said, i use fairtex 8s for pads, cleto reyes 14s for sparring and a lovely pair of cleto 8s for competing in.
