To all u fighters out there, how often do u train?, how do u find balancing the mma training, weights, cardio, nutrition along with your job?
Do u train around injuries or allow time for total recuperation?

Well my training depends on university etc.
I try and train everyday if I can to a point. Even if it means hitting the gym, treadmill, or whatever.
In an average week during the holiday period last year (Easter time) I did the following:

Trained with Ian Freeman at 10:30 every weekday till about half 12. Ate dinner, chilled at home, then hit the weights at the gym.
On a Saturday morning I trained gi work in Ashington, and on a sunday afternoon I trained wrestling in Ashington. Worked on a saturday night 6 till about 3am.

Then I popped my arm training and just had to rest completely. It gave me more time for university work and also chilling and hitting Newcastle ;) I normally prefer to try and work around an injury depending on what it is, how severe it is, and where it is. For instance I had my foot in plaster in the summer, but it meant I was sitting on my arse all day so I got the doc to take it off and put a boot on so I could go to the gym.

As for weights/cardio/nutrition, I have 2 different ways. First up, I will decide whether I want to bulk or cut. Bulking is gaining (muscle) weight and cutting is burning fat. I gear training and cardio around that.
At the moment I am bulking, so I am training very little cardio considering (that's to stop myself burning off too any valuable calories) and I am eating loads. I have received a bulk stock of energy bars from my sponsors (www.tmof.com) and they are like 404 calories per bar. So I get through a couple of those a day. Also I take my Ministry protein shakes with Ministry maltodextrin weight gainer. I just carry it round ready mixed in a shaker.
When I have bulked, I might look a little podgy (not noticed it mind) because of the increased calories and no doubt fat, but it's alright I don't mind. After bulking I will cut using ECA and increasing my cardio. I can't run so I do the XTrainer instead.

Everytime I have been at the gym, I chill in the jacuzzi and sauna/steam room.

"I don't do any additional running as A) I don't have time B) It's pretty pointless."
