BJJ Brighton
My Brother is interested in BJJ. He lives in brighton. As I live in surrey I don't know the clubs there.
He says he would not mind some MMA or kickboxing too. I think that good BJJ instruction is the most important. I want him to love it as much as I do.
He says money could be an issue.
Any advice?

There's a few clubs in Brighton, good place to start looking is Alliance BJJ with Miad Najafi - http://www.alliancebjjbrighton.com/

Alliance would be a good start, you also have Ivam Maciel BJJ (Worthing) and Gus from Grab and Pulls club

Slight error in the other posters info, Ivam runs classes in Brighton, Hove and Worthing.
Check the website here http://www.ivammaciel.com/
I train with him so i'm biased.
But... It's a good team, we compete a lot, train hard and Ivams a great coach.

PLUS on the MMA/kickboxing he could try:
ZT Fight Skool
Chris Kents place

Miad's academy (Alliance) is a fantastic place to train. Superb instruction, and a very friendly environment.
Some very technical guys there to train with too... highly recommended.

To be honest if anyone's thinking of training in Brighton they're spoilt for choice.
Additionally I think ZT have now got Tolly Plested (Ze Marcello brown belt) as their BJJ coach.

Alliance now run a fuller evening schedule from Monday to Saturday as of this week. Pm me if you need any more info. TK

He has been training with Ivam Maciel. He seems to really enjoy it so I am happy about that. Nice to have a sibling training too. Shame he lives so far away though. I'll have to get down to a Brighton tournament.
