Yeah, chopping peoples balls off with rusty knives is all fun and games until you forget to do your windows update or forget to turn that share off and someone dumps a gig of it on your machine for a laugh, or diects you to a site that loads it all into your cache without you knowing, or you live next door to an actual pedo and the numerically challenged mob give your wife a kicking while you're at work.

public 'mobbing' is obviously wrong as we would end up with witch hunts again!

Interesting though that a while ago there were political debates about accepting sheria or however its spelt - law into the UK to run along side UK law!
This would have meant the Islamic community would have had the legal permission to carry out their own court and administer their own justice to their own community.
There was talk of the UK government allowing it to deal with its own problems as many of the religious laws of Islam clashed with UK laws.

Seems they would consider this but still fail to bring justice to many horrific crimes within the UK's own legal system.

what if a 'professional' private court was set up to administer its own justice! Somehow there was the option for the victims to choose which court (Gov or Private) should deal with the criminal.

I mean in cases where its been proven and is bloody obvious that the crime has been committed yet the court goes soft on them...

Yes this is common - police do a good job and actually take this extremely seriously - but they work by the law and need evidence - that process is to defend us all. (But if the OP shoot the dude I wont cry)
