GNP were a little slow (as with any new/small biz) at first but it was ok as he was sponsoring us with kit - lots of freebies etc, so we also passed a cpl of orders too for general shirts and shorts - however I was expecting fight team shirts in Nov last year - urgent - was told they were 'on their way' - 'be with you by friday' , 'i went down and posted them myself' etc etc over the course of tons of too and fro contact I had been assured that a total of 4 parcels had been dispatched (one original order then 3 further 'replacement' ones!) still nada some 3 months later - we started off with post office issues or courier problems (plus the weather, christmas and various other reasons) yet the same courier they use from another supplier in Wales arrived 2 days later!
no tracking numbers no info and no t-shirts.....and no contact back
Johns a nice enough bloke but then went AWOL and never replied to my last 10 attempts to contact him so Id have to say avoid
shame but clearly can't deliver on what they promise so avoid
in the meantime we are after a new supplier/sponsor for our fight team t shirts
Diesel Gym
contact me with a PM on here if interested
A lot of people saying he's a nice guy, but someone who blatantly lies to you and strings you along in the vague hope of actually fulfilling his promises doesn't exactly strike me as 'best mate' material.
His demeanour may be nice enough, but there's obvious flaws!
If you do have any problems / issues with the court case and want some free advice I'd be happy to help. It's what I do, especially contractual disputes. Possibility thinking of specialising in sports law though.
Yeah its always the ones who are decent guys that you need to watch out for. They talk the talk and tell you exactly what you want to hear.
Yeah I got ripped off by GNP too. :0( £150 was promised 5x shorts an 5x tees.got 2tees an 1 shorts.and took mths to arrive. Also a few freinds orders my tees from his site an never got them.I wanted to post somthing about it a while ago,but every man an his dog were saying he was great so I just thought it was me....cunt!
If you (or your mates or anyone) bought stuff from GnP with a credit card that didn't turn up or went missing or was just shit and fell apart your credit card company must refund you all the money you spent. All you have to do is contact them and tell them what has happened. They may send out a claim form, but they have to pay up. They then liaise with GnP. Sadly this doesn't apply to debit cards, although some banks will help you if you contact them within three months.
I doubt this will apply to CS as it looks like the transaction was by cheque and the payment was made in a commercial context anyway.
I paid by debit :( not sure about mates, thanks tho!
