Who is it?
What's your opinion?
They are all in it for the love of the sport, the benefit of fighters and the viewing audiences they are all sterling gents.
thats a very diplomatic answer, in fairness though it was a loaded question lol
good answer and lol very loaded question
The promoter of that event with the wooden cage covered with chicken wire in the disused warehouse on the deserted industrial estate and the undisclosed location that a few of us ended up fighting on. (that we can't talk about) I wasn't impressed with his set up.
Fuckin Malone!
That Rob, is a funny story!
What was the main event like?
I inadvertently helped to put on a show in Bethnal Green about 4 years ago and the main promoter did an awful job, he put on some good fights (accidentally) but it was a 'first and last' type of show - Didn't realise the work involved and that if you don't market the event people won't buy tickets.
Anyway, he fainted out right before the event was due to take place (right in front of all the fighters) then woke up after having pissed himself. Even though he was a complete tool his next actions surprised me.
He looked over at one, big, bad-ass looking dude (LHW from France, name escapes me), who'd watched it all and does the following :
(stamps back of foot gently into a puddle of urine twice)
''Look at that, I've only gone and wet me self''
That was quote a shocking performance. Event-wise it was quite a good night though
Was there - I was cornering Ash Grimshaw and his infamous 'nut shot' against his Brazilian opponent. Nut shots were quite prominent that night as one of the Elite boys (read: DoD fighter) cracked his opponent in the bollocks and won via TKO.
