What do you think of performing with an underhand grip? is the extra focus on the biceps worth the increased risk of incurring a bicep tear with a heavy weight (as a lower weight obviously won't hit your back as much)?
I dont think so mate, i'd rather use the lift to build pulling strength and if you need to target biceps from an injury prevention perspective use another exercise like eccentric bicep curls etc.
That make sense?
Certainly does mate; Though I was considering it more to build some guns for the ladies!
In terms of functional exercises for BJJ/MMA, would you recommend Bent-over Rows instead of One-Arm Dumbbell Rows?
