You can't use "getting out of the ghetto" as a way to excuse wrongdoing just like that. Where do you draw the line? "Yeah, sure, he was involved in people trafficking throughout the 90s and early 00's in Eastern and Central Europe, but it got him out of the ghetto, so good for him!"

If, indeed, that fight was a fix, I'm more concerned about the many people who paid to watch that shit - people who may yet still be "in the ghetto" themselves.
