Training with a Gi
I have been training No Gi off and on for the past 8 yrs. My previous instructor trained Bjj but decided after his training that he did not think the Gi was needed so when I started grappling I never used it. I have heard it matters and does not matter from some of the best. It is very different than no gi as far as the grip goes. How do you guys feel about training with the Gi? Is it needed or not needed in your opinion?
