Apologies if this has been asked before.
I want to supplement my normal training with an EFFECTIVE grappling dummy routine at home, maybe 20 mins per day.
I am just doing my own thing at the minute, but are there already established routines out there?
What essential drills should I include?
I wouldn't bother with a dummy. Practice hip movement, shrimps, inverting, sit-throughs, backward/forward/sideways rolls etc...
As above and duck walking
Sorry for hijacking the thread- Rob, do u ever use a Swiss/stability ball for drills and how'd u rate them? Ta
Only a little bit... it's ok, I prefer to roll though :)
Am going away next week and taking a big fuckoff dummy or a real life person isn't an option so been thinking of ways to get me fix- Swiss ball an shadow it is!
Also, cheers for the blog- some good topics and insight :)
Indeed, they are dummy drills. Any citizen with half a brain would recognise that this grappling lark won't stand up against a well trained pugilist.
