Only been lucky enough to train with Rosi once, but she is a fantastic fighter and very knowledgeable athlete. Had really bad back problems pretty much since I started training and her advice...
Met Sean a few years back whilst in Thailand - didn't know he was doing MMA... He'd just come off Asian Contender then. Was it his first fight he snapped his leg? Be interested in hearing how he is...
Shame... wonder if Muaythai or MMA might come in? ;)
From BBC:
Wrestling has been dropped from the 2020 Games to make way for a new sport.
The International Olympic Committee's executive board made its decision after assessing the performance of...
Good advice above.
Also - Nightclubs and Bars are also worth contacting. They tend to be a little more accepting of the 'Cage Fighting' moniker and if you have a decent following, you can promise...
Problem is that there has to be a reason to sponsor you. Are people likely to see the company's logo on you, are you going to talk about them sponsoring you in the local paper, etc, etc. Essentially,...
Be sad to see Dan leave the sport, but I guess it shows how sensible he is; planning for the future as opposed to presuming things are gonna come his way. Will be following him until the day he hangs...
*grin* Indeed. Fresh start, new chapter - will be around here talking about fights and training (just not my own!) :)
I took the fight at three days notice and with three weeks training after a 3 year lay off (where I literally didn't walk into the gym whilst studying for a BA in Literature). It was also at 77KG...
Good luck, mate :)

I think they have their place in certain promotions, but I'm glad that the promotions trying to push MMA as a 'sport' have got rid of them. I'm not against elbows or even knees to the head on the...
Gotta love the refs: "Don't Kick, Don't Kick. Ok. Ok."
Just seen this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yAH8AJ5v7J8
What do you guys think about Soccer Kicks? I know it was a big debate at one point - that Mixed Martial Arts should allow any kind of...
I reckon their leg gets snapped or something - that's the only time I've seen people react as those guys react.
Be less nervous?
It's all about confidence. If you don't feel confident, you will feel nervous.
It would be impossible for someone here to give you advice without meeting you... even then...
Sonnen came across as pretty annoying... Generally the calibre of fighter looks to be above TUF average (post the first 3). Should be a good series I think.
(copied from another thread that wasn't...

I think it'll be an interesting fight. Quite a big fan of both, both very different fighters. Be interesting to see who forces who to play their game.
Wrestlers will always have the advantage...
Thanks for asking guys :)
As someone said earlier, I'm at University 'training my mind'. I'm also still training in the gym (lifting weights!) but sadly just don't have the time to dedicate to MMA...
Josh trains with us down at Team Savage, we train hard for every single fight we enter and last time I saw Josh he looked as focused as ever. Never heard of 'Adam' but Josh will do his part to make...
I have seen a few of their guys fight. Very good guys and very good approach to training :)
Results? :)
Can anyone who knows of or who is holding a no-gi comp please make a post here the location and date?
Thanks :)
