I will donate 10 pairs of MMA gloves for the kids. Let me have an address.
As god sees all he must surely know that in some cases a promoter is subjected to threats and visits to his event that are meant to stop his event in its tracks or at least cause enough of a problem...
Longreach International , London EC4A 1LB used to do our fighter insurance. They cover for Profesional MMA. The cover is somewhat limited but can be increased if needed.
They also were the only...
Good luck with it all.
My monies on you Bobby.
Best wishes to Rich for a speedy recovery. He has never been slow in getting in to sort out trouble.
Prokumite had fighters that would take from zero to £1800. Looking at it logically a fighter with a following would stand more chance of getting a fight. Not just because he or she was able to bring...
The more events that are put on the more promoters and fighters on the circuit that will let one or the other down. If a fighter or promoter gets trashed on the forum i think as time goes by these...
I think not as the music business does not have to rely on a performer selling his tickets.
I thought it was a great fight and both fighters should be given total respect for what they done for spectators and MMA. This morning i have fisherman talking about the fight. They have never...
Just curious to know who the cage supplier was???
I agree with you also James but i feel that these things can be sorted once the body is under way. Once a body of poeple get together it is only a matter of time before teething problems are all...
Totally agree.
I think its about time some of you stopped trashing every effort to form a governing body. Either you want one or you don't. Put your support where your mouth is. At least your input might be taken...
I wouldn't say that Sledge. What i would say is that we can all learn from hindsight. Lucky, maybe but i think there are many many fighters who are good guys and certainly when it comes to their...
Just one more point i forgot to mention. The UK courts actively encourage out of court settlement and should a party be seen to be unreasonable or uncooperative it is frowned on by them. In most...
We had 2 contracts that were breached. They both hinged on doctors certificates for a fighter not being able to attend due to being unfit. The first a British fighter provide a doctors letter...
Our contract was worth all that it said it would be. Both for the fighter and Prokumite. It does exactly what it says on the tin. I mean paper.
A contract is a contract and always worth signing...
Seems to sum the most of it up Dougie in fact spot on.
A good recipe Paul but!!
1) the local stable wants to fight non local fighters.
2) You have seen how easy it is to loose your venue even after holding many events there in the past.
3) absolutely....
I would be nice if it were all this simple. My background is in corporate entertainment and has been for many years. I was nieve to think i could sell to this market. I was wrong as they are too...
In my defence i never sought to get involved in the pro scene in the sense i think you mean. I set out to bring on the first timers and help those that wanted to fight in an event. Prokumite helped...
I honestly dont think its about egos. Some of the cancelled shows have some of the top guys in the business working together for a common goal. The bottom line is that is is about lack of attendance.
I still have some in stock. They are 40mm with a hardness of 40 shore. Only set back is that i only have them in Yellow.
