bring back pankration I reckon.
I don't think it's that bad an idea actually but I don't think it should be considered for a long time purely because I don't think the rest of the world is good enough to make it a truly competitive...
In fact I wouldn't even go outside if I were you.
It's okay though, you can still learn and grade with graceiuniversity...
yeah if it's not drying in time, buy another. If she doesn't take it out the machine in time, choke her out.
I've been training 3 years and have had ringworm once. It wasn't a big deal. I didn't train for one week, used an over the counter cream and it went away soon after.
Mats should be cleaned...
Hi - our head instructor Ricardo da Silva is currently out of the country until next week, so will probably get back to you on his return if it's his number you have?
The London classes are still...
yeah, in other words; don't bother with that.
Keep training and drilling the basics - learning it physically is way more important than learning it mentally.
I've definitely been to at least one comp where he's competed at brown belt.
aw no love for such a massive achievement? Well anyway, this means we have at least 3 black belts at every class at Nova, which can only be a good thing, and worth remembering for anyone in our area...
To those who know him, Judo monkey Dan received his well deserved black belt from Ricardo Da Silva on Saturday! :cool:
I'm sure videos of the whipping will surface soon enough..
The picture looks pretty strange - looks like he's got back mount? Not very smart for the street, if one of those guys was his friend they'd just kick him in.. Should have been the knee of justice on...
Very jealous, bringing back the memories of my trip earlier in the year. Who's taking the classes at Fightzone? I passed through there too. Drop by Alliance in Leblon if you can, great place!
So after some investigation turns out this just might be my friend's CKD place http://www.eackd.com/ in Redhill. I see no reference to BJJ on the site though. My friend tells me their instructor...
Interesting to see Leo's involved as an assistant instructor in Krav Maga too;

I think he was helping with their demo at Seni this...
A friend of mine who trains in CKD once introduced me to his instructor who also had apparently trained with Royce Gracie.. I wonder if it's the same guy. Where abouts is this place?

Bit late but a couple things I always hear being said to beginners;
-try not to use brute force. Will be difficult without knowing many techniques, just bear this in mind.
-tap. Forget pride,...
haha! this.
x2 weeks is the very least you'll want to be there, and even that is way too short, as I know all too well.. :(
If you're only there a short time why stick to one place when you could try several....
Nothing, as there's no official database. Unless every BJJ instructor within the UK is aware of the listings on EFN, which obviously isn't going to happen, then it'll never be exhaustive.
Perhaps...
Our gym has a half cage wall at one end. Helps the mma guys but is irrelevant for bjj.
In sparring I like to remind those who aren't aware not to leave themselves open to straight ankle locks when applicable by demonstration of the position without actually putting it on, if that makes...
Yeah right, those lot were a part of that wbjja rubbish at some stage.
This may not be the case for Gym Box but in my experience when a club or instructor holds classes within a gym I didn't have to be a member to take the classes.
Alternatively you could always...
there's only one way to solve this
