It was basically like this:
More of us need to start getting our kids to get into science as a career so they can discover warp travel - we could really do with starting again on some new planets at this point...
What Beverly Hills Cop 3? There were only two of them. Just like there was only one Matrix movie.
^ See, I knew it would be something you'd enjoy whether you were into Karate Kid or not. :)
Also this awesomeness if you've never seen it before:
Kimbo Slice: "I have evolved."
1, Trust yourself.
2, Break some rules.
3, Don't be afraid to fail.
4, Ignore the naysayers.
5, Work like hell.
Sorry I've not been posting, been off watching the prelims at:
Shay's just won by stoppage in the 3rd.
Full results as they now stand:
Yeah, both are a couple of guys I've seen before but haven't noticed them being around for a while.
Since I was just reading a thread that talked about how we never discuss UK MMA on here anymore and nodding along I thought I should create this one (plus my friend Shay is on the card!).
This has always been known, but the general feeling among most is that whilst your chance of being knocked out in MMA is higher than in other combat sports you're less likely to end up with long term...
You weren't alone either. Around 13% of everyone who voted cast their vote for UKIP. In fact, UKIP were 3rd in terms of overall amount of votes.
I hear you, but that's just you describing your stance, which isn't the stance of other people. Personally I don't know why so many people care about saying how much they earn; I tell people that all...
I think you underestimate the fact that a lot of people don't like people knowing who they vote for. Anonymise the poll and you'll get more results.
I just mentioned this on another thread, but Martin Kampmann landing this head kick at KOTC UK is something that is really stuck in my head. I've seen plenty of other big head kicks since then, but...
It was a good one. I remember chatting to Joey Villasenor there who was a bloody big dude for a middleweight. Made me realise what proper weight cutting could achieve! Also met Herb Dean, saw Martin...
Is he still in the UK then? I had it in my head he'd left the country.
I think you read it correctly Jimmy; this thread screams "I'm alone!" :)
Has anyone heard of the Kaz Mitzuishi guy that the 68kg gold at the event in the picture? I remember thinking he looked really good on that day. This was 11 years ago mind you!
Also, seeing Terry...
I found this old email print out of competition results from 2004. I now recognise a few names on there like Terry Etim and Rob Broughton. I was just wondering if anyone else from that day is still...
Not an April Fools, but I read this on the first and found it quite amusing:
I've gone back in time and started watching WWF when it was good. Just watched 'In your House' from April 1997. Undertaker vs Mankind and Stone Cold vs Brett Hart.
Jesus, I've been watching for over three hours now. When do they stop kicking him?
