Agree 100% with Jonathan - I was a bit surprised after I was subbed (again) by a blue belt in class when he said to me: "man, don't be so tense". So simple and yet...
Agree with faithsdaddy re the compound lifts and also the Natural re 1hr sessions tops. I normally train 2-3x week outside of BJJ classes.
For me the key thing is mixing up the style of training...

First ever post! Definitely keen to get some more gi and no-gi sparring experience on board. White belt here, so am guessing best suited to similar experience level...
