Dont they actually end up getting quite a bit more with the bonus's and tax deals etc?

Seem to remember seeing it somewhere on Sherdog once but might be wrong.....

Pride used to have some structure around low salaries for tax I thought. Not sure about the UFC, although I suspect the top fighters get the pot sweetened

no, thats straight salary + win bonus (as far as I know), doesnt include sub of the night and promo stuff either... look at Liaudin compared to Siver - the difference is a $3K win bonus!

interesting though seeing the variance between Siver, Liaudin, Etim and Taylor compared to some of the other fighters

Seeing as Etim got the submission of the night as well, is it fair to say that he could have made more than Bisping on the night?

Also, why would Etim demand $6+6 in his first fight, yet the more experienced Liaudin and Sivver were only offered $3+3?

I think Dana pays like $15K bonus for the best fight and the best sub etc. Sure I saw it on the Michael Bisping doc.

i heard the bonus was 30k this time

elvis-bisping = fight if the night bonus (30k EACH)
etim = sub of the night
gonzaga = ko of the CENTURY (night)
