    Default Beans

I've been having 200g's of beans (about 200 calories) before training and feeling really good lately! Are beans known for being good for energy / pre training snack?

I use them because I believe they don't lie too heavy (assuming you mean baked beans). I use them pre training too sometimes.
good proteins in them and high carb. im not sure what the amino acids are but they are well received into the body and cheap as fuck to buy.
just watch the old salt level if you're doing supermarkets own brand.

of course, the old rhyme couldn't be closer to the truth.. good for your heart they may be.. but try telling your missus that in bed when yhou let one go..

it would still be the same sort of effect. Altho I think butter beans are fucking rank on their own.
