With Camilo as world champ, is it impossible for Canto to make the Olympics (what would have to happen for Canto to get the spot?)?

not im possible but very unlikely. imo the only way to get the spot would be through injury. I am aware of a fighter that previously has deliberately injured the number 2 so that there would be no competition for his place as no 1.

Wasn't Canto #1 ranked in the world until fairly recently? i seem to recall he got injured at one of the big tournies recently, did camilo see his chance and take it or is Canto on the wane?

Re the japanese contingent, i imagine Tani will be in with a shot for Gold and Muneta must have a good chance but can you see Inoue or Suzuki being competitive? Is there anyone coming through the ranks to replace them or will the japanese ignore youth for seniority?
