so whats happned to....
David Beilkheden & Phil Norman?
ttt for phil, the lost gladiator
hes around. dont worry about that
Ok, if we are going to do this I have a few also.
Lee MacGuiness (Did he fight against that Polish dude from Lee Hasdells gym if so I am confused. Wasnt MacGuiness part of Hasdells gym back in the day?)
Also is Scott Goddard still in the US? He would have citizenship by now? Does he still compete?
Phil Norman had planned to be very active in 2007. With fights planned for Costa Rica & USA he was injured (broken bone in the elbow area) in about March. This sidelined him throughout the summer.
During that time he began training again and kept in good shape. We agreed a contest for my Absolute Adrenaline event in September which was to be the 1st before a busy 2008.
He faced Jaroslav Poborsky from Prague. During the contest Phil looked fitter and strongr than ever, dominating in every department and pretty much doing as he pleased.
In the second round he appeared to be winding up for the stoppage when Pobosky pulled a spinning reverse back heel out of nowhere ko'ing Phil.
You can see it on the absoluteadrenaline.tv website. It is spectacular but unfortunate for phil.
He was very upbeat about his first ever defeat in MMA and knew that he had fought well up to that point. Since then he has been training in America but word is that he is injured yet again, possibly a cracked bone in his back. I don't know how serious it is yet but hopefully it will not keep him out for too long and he can continue with his plan to be busy and active during 2008.
Hope that answers the question
