hmmm, aren't they skin diseases? To do this they would need to cover your hands, legs, feet, face, etc... and you'd probably end up looking like this, which isn't cool!

That's some rash guard you have there Aplin mate!!!
The clothes and rash gurds reduce the chance of bacterial and fungal infections in the areas covered. I was looking for a longsleeve, firstly to try and stop the mange and secondly it's bloody cold in Wales!!!
there is some evidence to suggest that mild doses of the antibacterial agent on these clothes, that aren't enuogh to completely kill the bacteria result in resistant strains of the bacteria
man, when you're the nail, hang in there....until the day you become the hammer
Surely when you wash them any bacteria resistance they had on them goes?
I have never really looked into the science behind rashguards. I thought it was the material that kept sweat / dirt away from your skin, didn't realise it was chemical agents. Interesting and reassuring though I guess.don't think they would sell too many if that was the case cheif!! or maybe you just never wash them
allegedly work that way anyway!!!

these dudes do them, I was just wondering if they are any good and if we could get them in the UK.
Aplin,
Normal rashguards just pretty much guard against rashes (funilly enough!!) - stop abrashons and cuts and so reduce infections
