    We are now taking entries for our 5th interclub event! The rules and all details are on the website. To enter please use the form on the site or pm me with your Name, Club, Weight and Experience.

    The Quannum Amateur competitions are friendly matches for a great introduction to MMA competition, the rules do NOT take out striking to the head but competitiors wear MMA SPARRING gloves. The entry fee is 10 which is payable either by cheque or paypal in advance of the competition. The closing date is January 18th and payments must be in by January 20th.

    Would you consider no head shot bouts for juniors at all? I mean juniors as in 15yr olds not kids, of course if you got a couple ( bit difficult with one lol!)

    Possibly, I don't generally like to hold mma with no head shots but I'll have a chat to Dave about it and let you know

    We don't but for under 16's Mick doesn't like head shots. Cheers!

    LOL, he's actually very good but we don't think under 16's should be doing head shots (or semi pro), plenty of time for that.It was just a thought because this comp is ideal for starting out.

    If you are going to do that you can fight me, I'd appreciate it more than him! LOL!

    hmmm this sounds good i dont really like ground and pound much and havent practiced it much yet? is there still head shots with Gnp?
