Default Congrats to Jess Liaudin, Nick Brooks and Daniel Strauss

I see Jess took bronze in the Purple Belt Master, Daniel took gold in Blue Belt Kids and Nick took a Bronze and a Silver from the Brown Belt Senior 2 at the No Gi Worlds in LA this past weekend. Well done guys!

So what competition was this, apart from being No Gi?

Why does bjj have so many belt categories?

I think for developing fighters and for domestic tournaments thats great in order that every1 can fight at their actual level and progress accordingly; but in a World Championship there should be only weight categories.

Fewer belts than most MAs. Categories for ages, gender and experience, otherwise your average grappler might find themselves facing Monson or Comprido.
