    Default Coaching

How relevant would a decent knowledge of martial arts and a general coaching qualification be?

this may seem like an odd question.

got an hnd in sports coaching and a strong interest (obsession) in mma.

any courses to get into coaching?

any suggestions as to the best route?

the bwa course is a wrestling course, its a two dayer. you have to know the techniques first and they test you on them. you could learn them in a few classes. i got the video they offer for a tenner. its half an hour, shows about ten techniques.

You are best off going to an MMA gym and training in then you will seewhat sort of things need to be addressed and learn the skills that are needed for coaching. Your qualification in coaching will then be put into practice as you "build" your own methods of teaching the skills.
