Seems to be quite a number of people on this forum taking drugs so I thought Id put my bit on.
Started taking recreational drugs when I was 13, would say that socialy, I was well and truly hooked when I was 15 taking regular weed, speed, lcd, alcohol etc.. Then onto coke and heroin when 16. Was a completely dependent addict to heroin for 4 years. Stopped all drugs when I was 20 (occasional pint still!) not touched anything since and now 34.
I was lucky to get off them and stay off.
On the other hand...
One friend of mine on Ketamine reacted badly, freeked out and ended up laying down on a railway line. Luckily, he rolled out the way just in time but left his hand halfway down the line...
another friend who used to take regularly with me had a bad lcd trip and went insane. After 5 years of electric shock treatment the only thing that would give him any sense of being back in control of his mind was heroin so now hes an addict.
1 friend also hot hooked, ended up behind bars.
a few people I met in the heroin circle are now dead.
at least 2 people who got well into drugs ended up massively depressed and took their own lives.
Dozens of people I know have been forever grieved by the loss of someone due to drugs.
I have 3 kids now and hope they never take drugs. The highs can be fun while they last but the gamble is very real and can cost you your mind if not your life.
just a few thoughts on the subject
Train safe and enjoy a good life. Tim
