Seriously though, I dunno. Some windows mobile phones would open the file, but good luck reading it without ruining your eyes.

I hear "books" work quite well.
Your best bet is a PSP, just have to download a few bits of software and you're all ready to go. I use my PSP to read manga, read novels, watch tv shows, play games is usually the least of what I do on it.
