Whats so funny about that? Have you actualy researched the subject of evidence yourself (not just using google and wikipedia!) or are you just laughing it off cos you havent realy looked into the matter and its easier to laugh at others?

I could go into pages and pages of what has been called evidence by the scientific community but Im sure you will know it all already dont you?

    I'm agnostic.

Strikes me that the question of whether there is a supreme being which runs everything is a question humans simply can't get to the bottom of. Questions like this, the origins of the universe etc are waaay beyond our possible understanding. We can't come to any definite conclusions.

It's like ants discussing quantum mechanics. Not cussing ants or anything, but there's no way they could ever come up with the right answers. However, when it comes to building a nest, they are pretty solid.

give me one page of what is referred to as 'evidence' by a bona-fida scientist and i'll be impressed. but excuse me if i'm misunderstanding that evidence and theory are not the same thing.

Retardguru do not be so absurd. how can theory and evidence be the same thing. look it up in your collins school dictionary. next time someone is teaching why dont you get taught. You will not read this though will you as i am on your ignore list

Belief is usually through re-inforcement or experience. I was not raised at home to believe in God, this is why I am curious as to why others do and as to what concretely underpins that belief as an individual.

That's not relevant. As is not whether i believe in the big bang theory, or even intelligent design (thank god for wikipedia ) .

thanks for clarifying that, i feel much better. my understanding of 'evidence' being something that can indicate clearly; to prove or exemplify..... ah forget about it, if you can't be bothered to do your own research then i'm hardly gonna spend my time writing (or should that be copy/pasting) pages and pages now am i.
