Im sure most of you have heard about the mosquito device.
Basically its a device people put infront of their shops that plays a high pitched noise that only teenagers can hear.
The point being to annoy them away.

....but I can also hear cathode ray tubes, so my hearing is a bit odd...

Free PC signal generator. I now have sore ears and my cats look pissed.
Weirdly you can tell the PC is making a noise (harmonics possibly?) at the higher end. But its not till you turn it up loud and find a frequency you can hear that it gets annoying.

I can hear em all and I just turned 35!
Ive got one of these on my mobile only it slowly goes through the frequency range so it gets everyone no matter what theyre hearing is like! Is funny if you set it off in a TV shop or place like Dixons, all the sales staff start panicking rond the TV's trying to work out which one is making the noise! It does hurt your ears though.
