    Default Toraki

    Hi guys,
just thought i would let you know about a rumour that i have heard about the brand Toraki. I wear Toraki Gi's for judo (they are pretty much the only brand that do made to measure judo gi's with over 30 individual sizes) and for their money amazing value for what you get.
They will be an unheard of brand for many of you BJJ guys but believe me - not for long. They will have a stall at seni and the rumour is in relation to a new gi "the black tiger tribal gi" It is going to be on sale in advance of its launch. It is one funky gi - (not one that us judo players would get away with) but the quality is top notch.
The stall will be in between the BJJ competiton areas I am told - and ask for Stuart. (Canadian guy) Drop my name in if you really need to
If your not after a gi tryout the rash guards, specific for grappling and are longer bodied than many of the other brands - check them out here.

Sorry for the shout out, but they are well established brand in judo and are rivalling the likes of mizuno and the other top brands - on word of mouth alone (many of the top lads wear them through choice). I thought i would give you some advance notice just to go and sneak a peak

What kind of price will the gi's be? I'm looking for a new gi and will be down there on the weekend.

Toraki have made some good BJJ Gi's. We have been using them for almost 6 months now and they are good Gi's. Andy Aspinall managed to get the 1st two Blue Gi's they ever shipped to the UK in November last year and they are still going strong. SoI would definately recommend them.

Ian, I've seen Andy's, is it a BJJ gi or a 'slim fit' judo gi? whatever, it looks good and I've been looking to get one myself...

Saw the Gi at the show - not nearly funky enough for me to buy one. Make it more like the gi bj wears (can't remember the name) then I'd consider it.

I will be seeing Stewart this weekend and looking at some of his gear, he says quite a few guys said hello to him and he got a good response from you guys. What did you think to his stuff, he said the mma gloves sold well

A friend bought a gi for £60 so we'll have to see how he does, but i thought they looked good.

I did like the Black Gi he had for sale but i'll have to wait til i get my purple before i get one.
