    Default grappling comp

hi folks i am considring holding a grappling comp in york, with a simple format everyone (fighters and spectators) pay a fiver entry, absolute rules winner takes all the gate fee (plus either £50 or £100 on top of the gate fee depending upon sponsors) minus expenses (room hire) or there is weight classes and the prize money is shared equally between the winners of each weight class.
you can only win by submission, timelimits of fifteen mins if no one has won by sub then both competitiors are out of the comp.

what are everyones thoughts on this, what you generally be the best weekend to hold it.

this isn't a confirmed comp yet, if enough interest is shown then it will be,

    your thoughts please?

What if nobody gets a sub within 15 minutes in the final?

this sounds ace, decisions in grappling comps suck! id fight in it but like emmet pointed out the rules have have to be different for the final. no time limit? lol.

    Sounds like a cracking idea.
I'd rather sweat in the gym than bleed from my ring . . .
