Thread: Which club is best in london for BJJ only.

    Smile Which club is best in london for BJJ only.

    I have seen roger gracie acad, carlson gracie team and gracie barra acad clubs plus londonshooters club but i want to learn from the best teacher available i am not sure which one to go for.

    Whats your recommendations?

    I would definately go for Roger Gracie academy or,if it is pure bjj you are after ,London Shooters.

    The teaching skills at Carlson's are a bit dodgy.Infact,everything at Carlson's is a bit dodgy-

    there is NO showers,
    there is NO direct debit or contracts
    there is NO stripes added to your belt just for turning up to class.

    Really,Carlson's won't suit most people as it is really just for people serious about fighting.

    Go to the Budokwai in south ken
    Roger doesn't actually coach at his academy but he does at the Budokwai.
    Also top class judo there for cross training purposes (again roger trains with the judo guys) each can learn a lot from the others training methods (BJJ and Judo)
