Because I can not get to any MMA/BJJ clubs in London, I have wondered about joining a judo club, there is a cheap one in watford, but I asked a lot of people that know the guy or trains with the guy and reckons it is good. Will this help with my future plans of joining a MMA gym?

I know, but I don't have the money for the transport. So thats why I want to learn things like judo or kick boxing or anything which will help for when I do have the money to travel to a club in London.

There are a couple of good (and cheap) Judo clubs in Watford

There is one in North Watford that is good at the Meridan Community Centre

They train on Monday and Wednesday evening

There is also an MMA club in South Oxhey that has several current fighters training there

All the animals come out at night - whores, skunk pussies, buggers, queens, fairies, dopers, junkies, sick, venal. Someday a real rain will come and wash all this scum off the streets.

Nick Brooks (brown belt from RGA) has a club near Watford. You can find it here http://slideyfoot.blogspot.com/2000/...club-list.html

To answer the original question - judo is a pretty good thing to get started with - you'll get hard live randori, good understanding of throwing, some basics of newaza. If it is really judo or not grappling - judo all the way
No natural ability, no skills, no conditioning, no hope...no quitting
