Would they have to honor the price or not? seems like a great buy.

A smith machine is never a good buy, no matter how cheap!

The pulley is interesting though, it says it's a pound when I click the link?!

No, they don't have to honour any price which is shown. The only time a seller can be in trouble with pricing is if it is done to deliberately mislead consumers.

With physical shops it works that the contract is made at the point of sale, the displayed prices are just an invitation. So if a £200 jacket says £20, they don't have to sell it to you for that, they will tell you at point of sale that it's actually £200 and then it's your choice to buy or not.

Online it works a bit differently due to the nature of internet shopping. You can click buy, put in all your card details etc and then later you'll probably find the order has been cancelled. Worth trying it though, if they don't pick up on it and deliver the goods then you've got a bargain.

That said, I wouldn't have a Smith machine if it was free.

the real answer is that it depends on their published terms. Most sites are now sensible ensure to ensure that acceptance is deemed to occur at a point subsequent to your card being processed so they can overcome these problems.
