    What's combat grappling?

Combat Sports Open is a good place to start. Guys like Zelg Galesic, Sol Gilbert, Paul Jenkins etc started in that. it's good experience. Don't listen to these guys who knock no headshots Amateur MMA.

Friday? No, I shall need to distribute and by friday will be in no fit state to do anthing. May well be up the week after though. I think it's worth going upto Bury once a week, I like the friday class (and sunday one is good too although we already have a gi session in Lynn).

True and i personally never did no headshots because i didn't want to get into the habit of dropping my hands leaving the head exposed.
However i fight with no headshot on the floor at the moment and i do think people have to find where they feel comfortable to compete and you can do a no headshot fight a lot earlier in training as the risk of being hurt is lower.
I do think they have their place especially with first timers.
