    Hey every1, new to the boards so first of all hey to every1!

    Neway i was just wondering, i've recently started training mma but have gone the gym in general for quite awhile, just wondering what kit u all use to train in and any recommendations any of you may have?

    I do own like sum hand wraps, weight liftin gloves, sparrin gloves, bag gloves but thats about it.....where i go has the 2 mits that ya can use to practice boxin bt do many of u find any other pads useful? - if ye which ones please?

    And a few of my friends have rashguards - they worth the quids u rekon??

    Sori to sound a reeeeeeeeeet newbie bt like i dont wana b the guy who never has the ryt stuff as from wot ive seen n dun i quite like it n wana take it up abit more, so its nice to know what u all usuali take trainin n that with ya?

    Yeah you don't want to get kicked in the 'grion.'

    All all seriousness, all anyone really need to train to a decent enough level is a gum shield and a groin guard for the sake of protection. A pair of your own gloves that you're comfortable with is good too. But in all honesty there's no point going out and buying a load of flash gear if you've not trained for long enough to know whether you definitely will stick with it or not, and even then you really don't need to spend top dollar.

    i would say most important are

    Mouth guard
    Groin guard

    then ofcourse your gloves and pads because you dont wanna eb sharing all the time.

    Sparring gloves - i have throwdowns there amazing.
    MMA gloves - fairtex or throwdowns are good.
    Shin pads - fairtex, twins really up to what you like.

    then your clobber

    Rashguards - nike pro are very good and cheap. tapout are good but abit thick for my liking. really up to you again. there shorts are really good too.
