To be honest, why would they invite them?
I don't think I've ever been to a funeral where someones boss has stood up to say a few words. Unless anyone there was family or a personal friend, I don't see the big deal.

happens in almost every sport, they didnt have to say anything but considering he was a champ and fought many times int he ufc it would only be right

well was anyone from the UFC invited? That is the main point - you don't turn up to a funeral unannounced.

Totally agree, Evan was hardly a people person, at times he liked nothing other than to be alone. His funeral could have had only a dozen people there, who knows.

The UFC wrote a front page article, had a clip at the start of UFN 15 and could yet include him into the hall of fame (imho he was as good a fighter as most of the blokes currently in there (Bar Royce) and has a better record)
And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

I agree but I think it's wrong to suggest the UFC should 'send' someone... I mean maybe its just semantics but the idea of 'sending' someone to a funeral makes it sound like a chore.
