The standard there was very good, some excellent match ups. Favorite fight was the guy who was loosing pretty clearly until he pulled out a peruvian neck tie.

    Yeah that's right.

Was particularly impressed with Andrew Rose and Stephen Wildbur. There were some excellent fights. Ones that stand out are:

Steven Taylor vs Liam Summerfield -
(with taylor coming back to win it with the guillotine)

Darrel James fights vs Alex Innes and Richard Willis
(which were some bad ass tearups)

Simon Hunt and Alex Innes (bad luck Simon, showed some impressive standup and takedowns inc the Judo throw, but well done to Innes for getting the sub, with 30 seconds left)

Stephen Wildbur vs Leonard De Gaul

...and not to mention my one against Danny Warr who battered the piss out of my legs for the majority of 2 rounds before getting me on my back and getting the armbar (let myself down, didn't have enough gas in the tank but will be back stronger for '09).

Good day overall, well run event and was good to finally meet you TWISTER! Best half guard in UK, but not your own club, haha!

That was Simon Hunt who I cornered (the one on the receiving end). Well gutted with that... 30 seconds left too!! Well done to Innes, the guy's a battler.

    Is that Neil?

What were your results bud? PM me if ya like!
I fight. Not simply with my opponent. I fight with the demons of doubt. With my exhaustion, with my past failures, with my injuries, with my anonymity, with the unrelenting voice that tells me to stop. But I am a fighter. And one thing is sure. I will be victorious.
