Does this annoy anyone else?

I was in a really nice French cafe yesterday having a coffee, sat outside while the mrs was shopping.

Two couples walk past and one says want to get a coffee here? The girl went "eeeeeh no, never even heard of it before, lets go to Starbucks"

I wanted to throw my coffee over her for two reasons:

1/What makes Starbucks better just because you have heard of it before?
2/I was sat right next to where she said "eeeeh no"

Would this make anyone elses blood boil?

Or am I mental

I bought the Guardian on Friday as there was a voucher for any coffee of any size at Starbucks for free in the back. It'll be there next Friday as well.

I didn't know what to get, so got the guy to pick for me. He picked a hot chocolate drink with a shot of coffee in it with loads of cream on top. Can't say I enjoyed it much... I think I'll only be returning when I can get another free one, lol. Can't see what the big deal is.

I think you're mental though... can't say it'd have bothered me, but not picking somewhere because you've never been there before is stupid.

Dunno about Starbucks but when people come visit me from UK and all they wanna eat is full breakfasts & KFC's all the time when their is some of the top restaraunts in Spain around and cheap as well....it pisses me off!

Think that might've been it... a Verdi Mocha or something like that. I didn't have a clue what anything on the wall meant, so just trusted his decision. 50% cream & foam, 40% sugar, 9% chocolate, 1% coffee...

Wasn't for me... I'll try something else next time.

PS: How expensive is the food!? I had a look through the sandwiches and cakes, and the muffins cost £1.30 or so... for a fucking muffin!?

She must of given Starbucks a try once to like it?? Not sure why people are so short sighted not to try somewhere new!!

i got this also, i had a latte as it was for espresso based drinks only, the bitch behind the counter didn't look impressed though, not that i cared, two free starbucks in one week (the other one never had a card machine working so they gave it to me for free)

Not a coffee/tea drinker... never have been but it annoys me when people buy that designer coffee rubbish and pay like £5 for ONE! What happened to good ol' Nescafe?!

But it ESPECIALLY annoys me when people "Ew/Eurgh" at food, really f*cks me off. It's one thing to say "No thanks, not really my thing.." but when someone goes "Euuuuuurghhh" at food.... Makes me want to go "LOOK AT YOUR FACE!!!!!!!". Just say no thanks and move on. Or just dont say it out loud ffs.
