The best: Al Pacinos 'Inch by Inch' speech from 'Any Given Sunday'. (EDIT: it's actually called 'Peace with inches')

Also: Ed Norton in 'The 25th Hour' & Jack Nicholson in 'A Few Good Men'

    And another rubbish one.

    Spud's interview from Trainspotting.

Though it's not strictly a monologue.

Agree re. Glengarry Glen Ross - one of those I wasn't expecting to like but loved it. Awesome cast!

Im trying to find Chritopher Walken's scene from Man on Fire where he delivers that spine tingling line...

"Creasy's art is death...and he's about to paint his masterpiece".

If anyone could find that somewhere Id be very grateful.

That and Denzil's "Loudest man in the room" scene from American Gangster are 2 of my modern favourites.

    Liam Nesson from Taken.

'I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you'

I think its his voice that makes it spine chilling for me.
