    Default judo in newport or cwmbran?

    Hi,
    im looking for a good judo club in newport or cwmbran. i know theres lots but i dont have the time to try them all so if you know a good one let me know.

    Hi mate; Newport used to be really strong for judo; but not so much now.

    The police team train on Mondays in Cwmbran police station; and there are a few smaller clubs in Newport as well. There is falcons gym which has a judo background but is more mma now I believe.

    It really depends what you are looking for; they are probably fine for a general practice; if it is training for competition your after; probably best to come down to Cardiff Welsh Institute of Sport Wednesday & Friday 7 -9pm.

    you could pop along to Pedro Bessa's in CCardiff too if you fancy it mate. No training tonight as Kent open Sunday but Llantrisant sports center Monday and Sophia Gardens on Friday.

    Thats the same Friday class I mentioned; good mix of players on that session.

    good session on a friday mate bjj and judo alot of stand up sparing as well as ground sparing good session this

    teachin are done by pedro bessa bjj black belt
    judo craig ewers or neil adams both awesome coaches too
