    Default Busted knee

Fell over just before Xmas (sober!) and took a lot of skin off my knee and hand. Also banged the knee onto the pavement a bit.

2 weeks later it has all healed up but my lower leg is quite stiff and the knee gets sore after I walk any distance. Not deeply painful, but it feels 'wrong' and a bit weak. I'm loathe to roll or kick with it as I'm worried I might damage it further.

Injury was to outside of knee - sat down now the scabbing is over the soft area between the shinbone and kneecap on the outside edge.

Any physios know if you can damage the joints like that with a fall or is it just likely to be a bit of bruising/inflammation that will just pass?

did you hear a loud pop at all when it happened if so its your cruciate ( did mine years ago ) its probably internal swelling/bruising and should go with time, might be worth holding off rolling for a bit.

No loud pop, unless it was drowned out by the sound of my ego suffering (I was in front of about 5 delivery drivers at the time, and trying not to look like a prat - stupid fall but it really hurt :-) )
