Metal thai cup in an elastic jock strap works well for me. I used to tie it on with the thong style straps that came with it until they broke and being lazy I couldn't be bothered replacing them.
Before using a Thai cup, I had a standard 'sports cup', made of tough plastic. That is until Danny Wallace performed a "Andre Gollota" on me, with two (yes TWO!) singing uppercuts to the bollox. The result was a cup that had been split into three pieces......![]()
I use a shitty plastic cup with the jockstrap, but im going to buy a metal thai cup soon =D
I had this problem too. The shorts don't hold it well enough so you end up with bits half in and half out (which is even worse when someone kneels on you). You need the shockdoctor jock strap. That holds it together real well. I found its best if you wear the jock with the cup and then some compression shorts over the top.
has anyone tried the spiderguard cup?
