    im about to leave school and join college and i really need a new hobby to pass time, i've always thought MMA looked interesting and i was wonering if 16 is to young to start, or if i could find lessons for people my age, any advice would be great, and btw in in Hull, any info on gyms around here would be nice to thanks

    16 is definitely not too young mate, loads of kids start boxing much younger and we have a kid training in GB Swansea who has been training in the adults class since he was 14. He is 16 now and making his amateur debut in a few weeks.

    Find a good gym and go for it.

    He is 16 now and making his amateur debut in a few weeks.
    ive heard good things about him off chris. should be a good start to the event fighting tom.

    I started around 14 and regret it somewhat, got loads of injuries from early on. But 16 should be fine.

    i was 15 when i started boxing, 16 for mma and wish wish I started younger.

    saville, scope and mcqueen all have shitloadsa fights and experience and are all 18 or younger.

    i wish i had started when i was in my teens maybe then i wouldn't now be getting schooled by teenagers
