I wasn't arguing it for Leigh, I was just raising the point that some fighters like to have 6-12 weeks notice before a fight and indirectly asking how long BFC would be giving them.
I know UFC offer fighters fights 6-10 weeks out sometimes, but this isn't as financially rewarding as the UFC? Fighters in the BFC will surely need to either schedule time off work or at least make plans to fit their training schedules to work schedules... and so on.

I'm not going to get into a discussion on grappling 15yr olds but i do know that all the M1 UK Team are also doing the BFC and we are 8 weeks from fights in Japan (April 29th). The BFC fights aren't going to be until May...
We then fight in the US in June
The official roll-out of BFC scheduled events have been delayed due to TV scheduling requirements from the broadcaster. We are as frustrated as everyone else for the delay and appreciate everyone's patience this far with this most ambitious of projects.
It was intended to announce the full season roll-out last week but this was delayed again. A full roll-out of events is imminent.
I can confirm that the 1st event will take place on May 2nd and thereafter fortnightly until the quarter finals, semi finals and season finale in Dec. Individual fighters will be contacted this week with a full scheduling of the opening rounds.
