    well i was'nt even getting submitted I was just being sat on, but now after a bit of reading I understand that I need to be making space, I was trying to bridge the guy but I guess I was using less technique and more power this got me now were apart from tired, are shrimp and bridge your main moves to begin

    Maybe you should try bridging whilst pushing your hands on his hips in an explosive movement, then shrimping (or pushing his knee and pull half guard).

    ive been training for around a year an im still super basic but when i roll with a noob ill leave my arms an neck so they can av a go at tapping me then i train myself by trying to escape. last week a new guy tried to actually strangle me in rolling needless to say i had to sub him..........hard!
