Really sorry to hear that Duchman. I had a year and a half off when I did my knee and I remember how miserable I was. Hope you can make the most of the time, use it as productively as you can and get back to training as soon as possible.
bad luck man, hope you heal soon.

Sorry to hear about that mate...
I broke my leg a couple of years or so ago doing takedowns - I was out for around six months and that freaked me out. I can't imagine what it must be like to recover from a torn ACL....
Put people do recover from it. If you've seen Renzo's documentary he tore his ACL, was out for a year or so but then gradually returned to training...
It's hard mate but Keep the Faith man. Try to keep your enthusiam up by watching / going to fights/comps, watching instructionals etc. If you can try to go to training and just watch the class/chat to your team-mates/instructor etc. That's the kind of things that will keep your enthusiam up and your passion for fighting alive.
Sorry but I can't see you stopping BJJ at all - I think you'd have to be decapitated before you stopped doing BJJ...
All the best to you for a speedy recovery mate.
Have you had surgery on it before Dutchman?
