    Default Fight photography exhibiton

I'm trying to generate exhibition ideas at the moment (it's my job) and would love to combine my love of fights and an exhibition. It's a really vague idea at the moment but I would love to do an exhibition of fight photography, not necessarily just mma.
I am based in the north west and there are some great gyms and fighters, but I am thinking it would be an idea for touring around the country, not just in art galleries either as it has a wide appeal.
I'm just after thoughts really, would people like to see this kind of exhibition? Have you seen anything before?

It's a rough idea to tie it into the cultural olympiad and possibly get new work commissioned, as well as interviews with fighters, films and maybe some memorabilia.

It will be something I may look at doing freelance if I can't sort it out through work so would possibly be looking for sponsorship if that was the case.

    Sound good or crap?

    Thanks

I'd probably go and see it if it was nearby. In Leeds they often put photgraphic exhibitions on in Millennium Square which are good.

I like it, a sport like MMA gives opportunity for some really dramatic photos.

That's what I am thinking, I have seen some amazing photos in various magazines and to see them blown up would be great.

    Sounds like a good idea.

Maybe try emailing the UFC about possibly getting some UFC/PRIDE pictures? They could tell you to f*** off but its worth a try .
