    As Dirty Dick has said,the new Grading syllabus has now taken affect all over the country.(I don't like it...........).

    The Budokwai holds BJA Southern Area gradings on the last Sunday of every month and sign in time is 11am.

    At these gradings now,1st Kyu's (Brown Belt's) will fight for their 1st Dan in the time honoured tradition,and Dan grades will fight for their next level as they always have done.
    Kyu grades (Coloured belts) will be graded by BJA staff on their technical ability (Syllabus on BJA site) and awarded their grade if they pass.
