    Default Weigh ins for BJJ

Im going to the ESSEX open tommorow, and was just wondering how strict the weigh ins are, Ive got a set of digi scales and Im bang on the right weight, but scales like to differ slightly. I was just wondering if they give you a ounce either side or not.

According to the rules there is no weight allowance at all.

Sometimes some comps do let a very small amount go.

As it turned out I could have done with a bit of extra energy to try and get your boy (Mick Wood) off my head, 1 -0 to him (and well done), the gold would have looked much better round my neck though, Maybe have round 2 in Birmingham.
The scales turned out to be quite forgiving so I probably could have gotton away with a few slices of pig.
    Congrats to your team.
