I am returning to BJJ after 6 months off. I have been training 2-3 times a week for the past 2-3 weeks and have picked up an annoying injury. I have a pain in my back. That i feel directly on my back bone level or just slightly below to my navel level.
I'm not sure whether this is just from my back not being used to pressed on the matt again or is a more serious injury. Although it doesn't stop me doing anything there is a consistent dull pain that is worse immediately, again not dehabilitating, after training.
I have been training no gi, but the wearing a gi from yesterday.
Should i grapple through it or see a specialist, if so what type (physio, osteopath, voodoo doctor)
