Ajarn Sken has done a hell of a lot for MT in this country.

Plus sported some awesome fashions and hairstyles over the years ;-) (obviously with the greatest of respect)
Speaking of hairstyles and Grand Master Sken's former students; Sandy Holt!

Don't know Peter, personally, but he looks more than capable.

Like the flying punch at 0:50, got caught in sparring with one of those today as I was moving in and it tore the contact lense right out of my eye!...bugger

What an entirely true but unfortunately hypocritical atricle.

bit disrespectful comment? he was awarded it for his service in promoting Muay Thai worldwide and having taught it for nigh on 30 yrs in the UK and churned out more quality names than you can care to mention.

Politics in Muay Thai is quite funny.

Coming from a BTBC back ground, under Kru Tony Moore and Kru Steve McArdle, there was a general dislike of Sken. I always got the impression that there was "history" behind it all.

I've never understood it though, as clearly both Sitma and BTBC have some excellent camps and coaches and have produced some great fighters.

I'ne not done pure MT for 9 years now (when I swapped to MMA). Is there still the same politics?

I believe there is I'm afraid.
The best moment of my life was being punched in the face by Liam Harrison.
